Match Game Quilt

Free Quilt Pattern

People have asked about the pattern for the Match Game quilt shown here and on the Home Page. I made it for kids to enjoy. And they do! It is a great quilt for beginners.

Instructions are for the pictured size. Finished size: 67.5”x78.5”

Finished block size: 5.5 inches square

Number of blocks total: 168 (84 matching pairs)

Materials Needed:

84 matching pairs of 5-inch novelty fabric squares

1.5 yd. fabric for sashing and border

3/4 yd. fabric for binding

Making the blocks is fun! I started with 48 pair (96 total blocks, 8x12 layout), then went through my fabric collection to find more novelty fabrics I could use. The more variety the better!
